Meeting New Friends

This waiting is harder than I thought it would be. I really did think that the paperwork and all the deadlines were going to be the worst part of this process. It's not, the waiting is!! We haven't even been waiting that long, but it seems like forever! Our family has been very supportive and an ear to listen when we need it. It's hard for others to understand this process and all the drama that goes with it, so Tim and I have joined a chat room through our agency to meet other couples that are also adopting from China. We have met one couple that lives in Shorewood. We have been emailing back and forth for a week. Tomorrow we are meeting for coffee. I am so excited! It will be great if we make a connection and can be there for each other.
