Update on the wait

We recieved an email today that had alot of information concerning the extended wait. We have been informed that the wait is expected to extend to two years from log in date (our LID is Sept. 1st 2006). They stated that this wait may not be viable for every family and that they are opening up a new option for people to explore, it's called dual listing. This means that you can initiate a second international adoption while keeping your place in China, then whichever referral comes up first that's the one you have to accept. This has never been done before and I just don't understand that this could be an option but having a baby while on the waiting list is not. Tim and I have no desire to do a dual listing, we know that our daughter Maya is in China waiting for us, her forever family.
