We received the latest email newsletter from our agency today. Good news is, we're moving up the list. Bad news is, we're still over a year away from bringing Maya Lin home. The latest news said that people with log in dates from November of '05 have received their referrals. They waited 20 months! The agency expects this wait time to climb a bit more over the next few months. If it stays the same, we would get our referral in May 08', travelling in July 08'. That would be best case scenario. We are more likely going to receive our referral in September 08', travelling in November 08'. We're just praying that we can bring her home before Christmas. That would be a blessing. Hopefully, the wait won't grow as much as expected. Maybe it will decrease. Stranger things have happened!
