A day to celebrate

We are one step closer to bringing Maya home! Our agency called us today to let us know that the CCAA is reviewing our dossier. At least we have some good news to celebrate. They told us we might travel by next September. We hope they are right! The CCAA is looking over our paperwork to make sure we fit all of the criteria set forth by China for prospective parents. We are pretty confident this process will go smoothly. The next step will be the matching of us to Maya. We don't know who she is yet, but we're so anxious to meet her and bring her home. If we travel next September, she may have been born or could be in the womb of her birth mother right now! That's pretty amazing to imagine. Please pray that we don't encounter any delays with our review and that Maya comes home soon.
