As of today, we have reached the two year mark.  We have now been logged in with China and waiting two years for a referral, with no real end in sight.  I can't even describe the torture this whole process has been.  We have friends that have two girls from China and they can't believe how this program has changed.  They waited only eight months from their log in date.  I'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but a lot of this extra wait has to with that China has now strated to do "in country" adoptions.  Which means, Chinese families that want to have more than the one child that is allowed, they can adopt a second child.  This has put a strain on the number of children that are available for international adoption.  If that's what they say, I guess I have to believe that.  Let's all pray that our wait doesn't go for another two years!!
