Date of Departure

It's official!!  We are leaving on November 12th!!  I know some people are curious as to what we do when we are in China, so here is our itinerary.  

Nov. 12th.  leave from O'Hare at 11am.

Nov. 13th.  Arrive in Beijing at 9:30 pm.  (that's 13 hrs. ahead)

Go to our hotel, which is right across the street from Tiananmen Square.  And sleep for a long time.

Nov.14th.  See the Great Wall.

Nov.15th.  Go to the Forbidden City.

Nov.16th.  Fly to Nanning and check in to a hotel.

Nov.17th.  Pick up Maya!!!!!  Then go and apply for notary and her passport.

Nov.18th.  Sightseeing with our group.

Nov.19th.  Free time.  

Nov.20th.  Receive Maya's notary.

Nov.21th.  Receive Maya's passport.

Nov.22nd. Fly to Guangzhou.

Nov.23rd.  Sightseeing.

Nov.24th.  Take visa picture, get Maya her medical exam and fill out all sorts of forms.

Nov.25th.  Obtain Maya's visa and go to interview at the consulate.

Nov.26th.   Go back to consulate to take oath and receive her visa.

Nov.27th.  Go to airport to go home!!!!!!

So, that's our trip.  Sounds exhausting to me, but we can't wait!
