2 days till we leave!!

There are only 2 days left before we leave!!!  We really only have today, to complete everything that we have started the last 2 weeks.  Maya's room is done, besides the curtins, which my aunt Debbie is making and bring over while we are gone.  We and when I say we, I mean Tim, put all the storm windows on today.  We are now trying to figure out how car seats go in the car!  We are totally confused, we don't even know which way we should face the car seat.  We are guessing that she will be a peanut, so we should probley face it backwards!!  After we make that big decission, we are going to go to the fire dept. to see if we put in correctly.  Anyone that knows me, knows, any reason to go to the fire department!
Tomorrow we leave to go to Chicago.  We are staying with our friends Scott and Sam, who have graciously offered to take us to O'hare airport on Wednesday morning.  I'm sure that we won't sleep at all tomorrow night, so it will be a good distraction to be with friends.  I'm getting kinda scared.  Scared of being so far away from home.  Scared of being a new mom.  Scared that my daughter won't bond with us right away.  Just plan scared of all the unknown that we are going to experience in the next 2 1/2 weeks!  Please say a prayer for us, as we make this very long journey to pick up our beautiful daughter Maya.

I talked to Sheila this morning
11-12-08. And later she left a message that she was ready to get on the plane in 15 minutes. She sounded good and not as afraid, as before she left to go to Chicago. I think the excitement, is begining to take effect. That's it for now.
