Maya's Aunt Tracy is coming into town to see her from Atlanta today. So it's a blessing that we got a good night sleep last night. We don't want her first visit to be what we have seen the last few days, scary!! I will post some pictures later today. Here's to the sun out today!! yeah.
Tim and I want to share our excitement and journey through this adoption with all our family and friends.

I can see the light
Well...it's been a very difficult transition at home. Nobody has been sleeping, everyone is real crabby and Maya is teething. We have been trying to keep Maya up as long as we can during the day, so she will sleep more than 2 or 3 hours a night. Finally, I can see progress. Last night Maya slept for 6 hours and they were in a row! Which in turn lets her Mommy and Daddy get the rest they sooo need. We both said this morning how much better we felt today. I was told by the Dr. that the jet leg will last for a couple of weeks, and that we just need to bear through it. Bear it has been, a big, fat, nasty bear. But it is getting a little better everyday.

Glad to hear Maya, and Mom/Dad are settling in- getting more sleep. Everyday will get better. Hope you have a nice visit with Aunt Tracy.

It is amazing what a little sleep can do! We are all sick with colds, ear infections and coughs so the sun is a welcomed change. Hope you all stay healthy. What a terrific holiday it will be! Laura
