Ni Hao everyone. Maya and I got the oppertunity to celebrate Chinese New Year with our friends Sam and Scott and their family. It was a great time. We celebrated with lots of Chinese food, which was delicious. I also learned about why you eat the food that you eat. Everything you eat has a meaning. Sauted lettuce means wealth, Chinese noodles when served are never cut because they mean long life. I learned a lot and hope to pass that down to Maya one day. Maya recieved red envelopes with lucky money it. She was totally into the envelopes, she loves anything the color red. I'm sure as she gets older, she will be more interested in what's inside the envelope. I want to thank the Tsui family for inviting us to share the New Year and it's traditions. We had a great time!
Tim and I want to share our excitement and journey through this adoption with all our family and friends.
