We have had a lot to think about lately. This process has been nothing but difficult and heart wrenching. A couple of weeks ago we were given the news that the wait had increased to an all time high of 5 years. We were also given a few options of what we could do instead of waiting, but we have decided, that we will continue to endure the wait.
This has been a very hard decision for us. But when we think and picture our daughter Maya, we see a Chinese baby with her round little face, dark almond eyes and beautiful black hair. We're not willing to give up on that. So many people have asked, why don't you just go through another country? I will give you the answer that Tim has given, since we have started this process. It's short and sweet. Because China is where my daughter is.
